Because Women Love Brunch: The Brunch Series & Community You Should Join
/Positivity. Connection. Sisterhood. Collaboration. All of these words exude the purpose of the Because Women Love Brunch created by Amanda Bell. As a creative and business owner its so important to understand the importance of networking, relationship building and community.
Last year, I met Amanda at a workshop. I've seen her make major moves while accomplishing her goals. I stongly admire her ambition and the way she uses her talents to empower and uplift other women. When the opportunity arose for me to attend her Seat At The Table Dallas Brunch I had to attend.
The Because Women Love Brunch series is not your average brunch. I was welcomed as soon as I entered the room! I felt an instant connection and level of comradery with the other attendees as soon as I entered. That's something that I don't take for granted. I've been to many brunches/events in the past where the level of pretentiousness is on high and there's no sense of #communityovercompetition. Don't worry, you don't have to worry about experiencing any potential "shade" at this brunch.
There were various activities aimed at breaking the ice, networking and getting to know each other better. I met so many amazing like-minded women who were all focused on attaining their goals.
The Girl Talk panel discussion was my favorite part of the event. I loved the discussion surrounding hair care tips and advice from natural hair guru Aye Ciara and hairstylist Marlissa of Luxxe Rae.
Although this was my first time attending the brunch, I felt like I was there with my girlfriends. The overwhelming feelings of support and sisterhood were apparent. We laughed, joked, asked questions, and had good fun. Did I also mention that the food and the swag bags were on point? Y'all know I love a good swag bag! Plus the vendors were bomb!
I'm so happy that I attended this brunch. Trust me, this won't be my last as it feels wonderful to be apart of such a supportive community of amazing women. Before leaving. I took a few minutes to interview Amanda. Knowledge is power, and there's so much insight that can be gained from the experience of others.
