Let me make a confession….I’m obsessed with good snacks. Once I find a snack I love, it’s so hard for me to let it go. I’ve been working from home for quite some time, and I’ve quickly realized that I need to elevate my snack game. Have you heard of Dang Foods? They have an amazing lineup of snacks with no added guilt!
Summer is finally here loves! I love finding cute, comfortable, inexpensive outfits and Walmart is my go-to! If you haven’t checked Walmart out recently, they have tons of cute, affordable, styles that are perfect for Summer!

Buying a Tesla is unlike any other car buying experience. Check the guide below for a few tips to keep in mind.
I finally did it! After years of debating if I should get LASIK vision surgery, I finally pulled the trigger. Before I get into the details, please note that this post is a recap of my experience. I’m not encouraging or discouraging you to get the procedure, but simply sharing my experience. Please consult a surgeon and make an educated decision before undergoing any medical procedure.
One of my goals for the new year was to get my re-organize my bathroom. Between messy drawers and products strewn all over the counter, it was so messy!
Can I let y’all in on a little secret? Ok here goes….I don’t like running errands. I hate to say it, but I don’t enjoy long time-consuming walks around the grocery store.I always struggle with finding time to grocery shop, but my Walmart+ membership has been a total gamechanger! Have you heard of Walmart+?
So, the hubster and I did something really, really big. We left Skyy with her auntie and had an amazing date day in Plano, TX. It may not seem like a big deal, but this was our first date day since we became parents.
Our outdoor Boho entertaining space is finally complete! When we moved into our home, we knew we wanted to transform the outdoor space into a functional, entertaining space that we could enjoy year round. Our backyard is on the smaller side but we managed to make our patio space cozy yet functional.
Over the last few months, I’ve been on the hunt for social distancing family friendly activities. I heard great things about the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center (it’s a really cool drive thru safari park in Glen Rose) and figured it would be the perfect social distancing activity. Aside from wearing proper safari themed attire, and packing safari snacks, a sporty SUV is an absolute must! I was thrilled when my friends at Toyota allowed me to drive the 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro for our safari day!
We found the one! No, I’m not referring to a puppy, I’m talking about Skyy’s new convertible car seat. To be honest, I was a little scared to jump into the convertible car seat selection process. We bought her newborn car seat before she was born and we spent lots of time researching and looking through reviews. Selecting a car seat is a big decision, and one that you definitely want to be happy with. I’m really happy with our choice and buybuy BABY made the process so easy.
As a first-time mama, preparing for a baby is a lot of fun but it can be stressful. Selecting a stroller was one of the things that stressed me out the most. Let’s face it; this is the one item that no new mom wants to get wrong
How are y’all holding up? I know things have been so heavy. Is it just me or do you feel like 2020 has been a heavy year in general?
The newborn stage was the hardest for the hubster and I. From the get go, Skyy suffered from horrible gas and experienced digestion issues. Bicycle kicks, stretches, gas drops, and tummy rubs became our norm, but they didn’t eliminate her issues. I felt so much guilt because I couldn’t make her pain go away. The fussiness and lack of sleep only added to a difficult situation.
I’ll never forget the excitement the hubster and I felt from building and buying our first home. We never thought we’d become homeowners and it was so exciting seeing our house built from the ground up. Looking back, I realize that we made many rookie mistakes when it came to our first home build.
If you saw my Instagram post last Friday then you know the hubster and I sold our first home last week. I never would’ve thought we’d sell our home within 3 years of buying, let alone during a global pandemic. I know y’all are dying to know why we chose to sell, how it all went down, and what our plan is so keep on scrolling down!
Before Skyy’s arrival there was one thing that worried me the most. Can you guess what it was? I wasn’t worried about labor, or how Mac and I would adjust to becoming parents. I was worried the about getting sleep!
Now that Skyy’s getting a little bigger, I’m slowly but surely starting to get out of the house more. I was so excited when McDonald’s invited me to attend a community game night in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Before getting to deep into my third trimester, the hubster and I thought it would be nice to take one last trip together before Skyy’s arrival. If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful, resort within the state of Texas then this post is for you!
My days have been a blur since I’ve been off work on maternity leave. Life with a newborn has been pretty crazy and I feel like my days and nights intertwine. I really cant believe we’re already a few days into November!
These are the days I prayed for. My heart is so full and I can’t believe our baby girl Skyy is finally here. Many of you have patiently been waiting for pictures and videos and I apologize for the delay. The hubster and I have spent the past few days loving and getting to know our baby girl and adjusting to parenthood. Scroll on down for some cuteness of Skyy and to read her birth story.
