As a first-time mama, preparing for a baby is a lot of fun but it can be stressful. Selecting a stroller was one of the things that stressed me out the most. Let’s face it; this is the one item that no new mom wants to get wrong
The newborn stage was the hardest for the hubster and I. From the get go, Skyy suffered from horrible gas and experienced digestion issues. Bicycle kicks, stretches, gas drops, and tummy rubs became our norm, but they didn’t eliminate her issues. I felt so much guilt because I couldn’t make her pain go away. The fussiness and lack of sleep only added to a difficult situation.
Before Skyy’s arrival there was one thing that worried me the most. Can you guess what it was? I wasn’t worried about labor, or how Mac and I would adjust to becoming parents. I was worried the about getting sleep!
These are the days I prayed for. My heart is so full and I can’t believe our baby girl Skyy is finally here. Many of you have patiently been waiting for pictures and videos and I apologize for the delay. The hubster and I have spent the past few days loving and getting to know our baby girl and adjusting to parenthood. Scroll on down for some cuteness of Skyy and to read her birth story.
One of the things that I’ve battled with during my third trimester is Gestational Diabetes. This may come as a shock to some of you.
I’m going to be 100% honest. Creating a baby registry was the one task that I dreaded the most during this baby prep journey. As a first time mom, I felt so anxious over creating one. Although I received many product recommendations from seasoned mommy friends and family, the task seemed so daunting! I’m happy to say the hubster and I partnered with buybuy BABY to create our registry and the experience was phenomena! I seriously can’t recommend it enough for mamas-to-be.
Jehovah God has given my husband and I a reward that we’ve wanted for so long. The gratitude that I feel right now is hard to explain. All of this feels so surreal. WE’RE PREGNANT WITH OUR RAINBOW BABY!
We found the one! No, I’m not referring to a puppy, I’m talking about Skyy’s new convertible car seat. To be honest, I was a little scared to jump into the convertible car seat selection process. We bought her newborn car seat before she was born and we spent lots of time researching and looking through reviews. Selecting a car seat is a big decision, and one that you definitely want to be happy with. I’m really happy with our choice and buybuy BABY made the process so easy.
