Stroller Must-Have: 5 Things I Love About the UPPAbaby VISTA
/This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPPAbaby. All opinions are 100% mine.
As a first-time mama, preparing for a baby is a lot of fun but it can be stressful. Selecting a stroller was one of the things that stressed me out the most. Let’s face it; this is the one item that no new mom wants to get wrong. There’s nothing worse than being stuck with a stroller that’s too bulky or hard to open or close. During my pregnancy, I spent hours researching brands and even came across a few stroller horror stories. Buying a stroller is an investment, and I’m so glad I chose the UPPAbaby VISTA. Keep on scrolling to see why I love it.
1. A Bassinet is Included!
This might not seem like a big deal, but I love that the UPPAbaby VISTA comes with a Bassinet. You simply clip it on, and it provides a safe space for your baby to nap and relax. The mattress cover is breathable, machine washable, and features a zip-out liner. Plus, it comes with an extendable UPF 50 sunshade and a bug shield!
* Mom Hack*
Sometimes it’ s difficult to find diaper changing stations for Skyy when we’re on the go. The great thing about the Bassinet, is that it proves a flat, safe, surface for diaper changes. Simply lock the stroller wheels, place your diaper changing mat on top of the mattress cover, and voila! You now have a safe, flat, surface to change your baby. I don’t do this all the time, but it’s nice to know that I can use my stroller in case of emergencies.
2. The Easy-Access Basket is Huge
This is another one of my favorite features. The stroller has a huge easy-basket which makes it perfect for storing Skyy’s diaper bag, toys, and shopping bags. It comes in handy whenever I’m at the grocery store and is perfect for shopping tips. It has a large opening that makes the area easy to get to.
3. It’s Cute and Sleek
This might sound funny, but I’m all about aesthetics and yes this applies to strollers. I love how sleek the UPPAbaby VISTA is! It comes in 10 gorgeous color options and I selected JORDAN. You can also accessorize it with an UPPAbaby leather handlebar cover for an even sleeker look.
4. Multiples Are No Problem
We don’t plan on having more kids immediately, but it’s so good to know that we won’t have to buy a new stroller if we decide to. Simply purchase and attach the RumbleSeat to your VISTA and it can accommodate two in tow. The RumbleSeat can recline and can be used forward or parent-facing. You can also add the PiggyBack Ride Along Board to hold 3 babes! The RumbleSeat can recline and can be used forward or parent-facing.
5. It’s Incredibly Versatile
I love how this stroller grows with Skyy. The MESA Infant Car Seat attaches directly to the VISTA making it the ultimate travel system. The VISTA is also compatible with other car seat brands as long as you use an UPPABaby adapter. Now that Skyy has grown, I can use the included Toddler Seat which rides forwards, backwards, upright, or reclined.
6. It Isn’t Heavy
I’m very petite, I don’t lift weights, and I have ZERO problems breaking down this stroller and storing it in my trunk. The VISTA has a one-step fold and stands on its own. Its lightweight, easy-to-use and I don’t need my husband around in order to open, close, or store it.
Are you in the market for a new stroller? I really can’t recommend the VISTA enough! Do you own a VISTA? I’d love to know your thoughts about it!
