An Amazing yet Relaxing Hill Country Stay at Sonesta Bee Cave Austin

I love visiting Austin, Texas. There's so much to see and do between the incredible culinary, nature, and music scene. There are plenty of hotels to choose in the Downtown corridor. During my recent visit, I wanted to have a tranquil, yet fun stay that wasn't too far from the action in Austin.

I was extremely excited to stay at the Sonesta Bee Cave Austin Hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated between Austin and Lake Travis, and is a short 20 minute drive from Austin Bergstrom International Airport and downtown. If you plan on visiting the popular Hamilton Pool Reserve, the hotel is about 20-25 minutes away.

My king bed room was nap-worthy. The room was very spacious and I loved all the Austin themed artwork.

The hotel also has cool in-room dining options. You can order room service from the hotel or have food delivered directly to your room from nearby restaurants.

The bathroom also features a huge stand up shower with some luxurious bath products. Maybe its just me, but I love when hotels have product dispensers in the shower. There's also a full-length mirror outside the bathroom.

The hotel also has a gorgeous pool and sun deck.

My favorite thing about the hotel is Meridian 98, a rooftop restaurant, bar, and lounge. The views of Austin Hill Country were incredible, and the rooftop is relaxing.
