I am so proud to say that I am now an Alumna of Southern New Hampshire University. Last Saturday, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelors Degree in Communications, Public Relations. Can someone call Olivia Pope to see if she's hiring? I'm ready to be a gladiator!

After finishing high school, I attended community college to obtain my Associate's Degree in Marketing. Upon completion, I knew that I wanted to obtain my BA. Due to life and challenging circumstances, it always seemed like a dream. In 2010 I decided that I wanted to give college another try. However, after completing my first term, i knew that the university and program I had chosen was not for me. I ended up withdrawing. This left me with feelings of failure and disappointment. Deep down I thought that I would never be able to complete my BA.

Fast forward to 2014 and I decided to give college one last shot. I came across SNHU and instantly fell in love with my program, and advisors. The support I received was continuous and overwhelming. I've spent the past two years attending both work and school full time. I would've never thought in a million years that I would've created an awesome blog in the process. I've had doors and opportunities opened for me that have seemed unimaginable.

I experienced many emotional breakdowns throughout my journey. There were days when I doubted myself, and if I could press on. However, it was all worth it. I am so thankful for my family and dear friends that have supported me along the way.
